Inspiration
Singer songwriter Amy Seidman and DJ producer Vincent Kwok collaborate in a moving song about facing life's challenges while keeping faith in oneself and others. Recorded at Eight-Fifteen Recordings, Inspiration is an allegory of the cycles of life.
All Love
Written by singer songwriter Amy Seidman, All Love is a waking dream which dances around the subject of our energetic connection to all creation, meeting our experiences with unconditional love. All Love opens with the Om believed to be the underlying sound of the universe which resonates in and through all of us. With initial tracks recorded at SyKlopps Studios, All Love is an allegory of the seventh chakra, our ability to see beyond the physical world.
So Beautiful
So Beautiful by singer songwriter Amy Seidman and DJ MFR has received accolades within underground electronic scene with acclaimed remix by Vincent Kwok. Pre-released on vinyl by Cosmic Flux, So Beautiful has been played internationally - reaching number one on Radio Centro Roma. A groovy song about seeing everyone for the beauty they are, whether fat, skinny, brown or yellow, So Beautiful was inspired by desert events such as Burningman and a small group of adventures whose camp was known as "No Where In Particular". "Colored baubles dangling" contrast with experiences of a world traveled and a beauty of unadulterated reality. "Baridi sana Coca Cola man" meets "blue haired boy" who "wears no brand", and in the end dances to "rumbled bongo baby beat". So Beautiful is an allegory of the sixth chakra, our ability to see beyond the physical world with intuition. Produced by DJ MFR, with additional production by Vincent Kwok.
Something to Say
Singer songwriter Amy Seidman rides the wild wave dark lyrics and scatting vocals. Eclectic meets jazz in this funky bass hit by Mark Meadows with sax solo by Sappron Obois, back ups by Will-I-Am and throat singing by Intensity. Something to Say is an allegory of the fifth chakra, our voice in the world. We all have something to say and the power of thoughts to words leads the direction of our lives. Initial tracks recorded at SyKlopps Studios by L. Henry Sarmiento, remaining tracks recorded at Creative Entity in LA and SF by Amy Seidman.
Two My Soul
A beautiful love song featuring singer songwriter Amy Seidman, Will-I-Am and a heart wrenching cello performance by Cameron Stone. Two My Soul reflects an inner thirst quenched by love. Written not for one person but from the feelings of an independent modern woman dreaming her true love as an allegory of the fourth chakra. Initial tracks recorded at SyKlopps Studios by L. Henry Sarmiento, remaining tracks recorded at Creative Entity by Amy Seidman.
The Flow
A funky urban blend of cello, beats and rap results in a fun and moving tale about transition. An allegory of the third chakra, The Flow is about willpower, our identity and conflicts we need to over come in life. Perceptions of poverty give way to possibility. Originally written and recorded solo by Amy Seidman, the intent was to bring in a male vocal. Jacob Macguire became both the instrument and author of the rap enacting it with Amy at a performance art show with the Chakra Explorers and later included in the track as a result of this collaboration. The Om from All Love was recorded at this show as well. Initial tracks recorded at SyKlopps Studios by L. Henry Sarmiento, remaining tracks recorded at Creative Entity by Amy Seidman.
Liquid Bliss
The warm merging of two souls in dream-state is carried on in an off beat performance by Shannon Michael Terry on M'bira, Cameron Stone on cello, Mark Meadows, bass and singer songwriter Amy Seidman. Liquid Bliss is an allegory of the second chakra reflecting emotions and sexuality. Recorded at Creative Entity by Amy Seidman.
Tiny Skin
Title track "Tiny Skin", written by singer songwriter Amy Seidman, is a visceral representation of running with one's impulses. Inspired by arts festival Burningman, the rampant wailing of experimental distorted bass by L. Henry Sarmiento lends an other world effect in combination with Didgeridoo by Stuart Sperling. Tiny Skin is an allegory of the first chakra, our connection to the world and primal experiences. With initial tracks recorded at the historical SyKlopps Studios by L. Henry Sarmiento, remaining tracks recorded at Creative Entity by Amy Seidman
No Time
A hip dance song about living life to the fullest - right now! Because we’ve “got no time for wasting”. We live in a busy world where information and the exchange of ideas are happening exponentially. Inspired by singer songwriter Amy Seidman’s quest for time to do the most fulfilling things in life, she shares her joy, eagerness, and angst. Being an artist is a dedication to inspiration and vision, demanding balance and time to make dreams a reality. The song “No Time” talks about taking personal inventory, participating in our own progression and choosing what matters most in the experiences we engage.
